Mosin Nagant 91/30.Caliber: 7.62x54RDesigned: 1891Produced: 1891-1965Numbers built: Approx 37,000,000 (Russia/Soviet Union)
One of the most well-known military rifles all around.Facts: If thrown off a cliff or driven over by a truck, the rifle will still operate properly. It performs excellently in all weather conditions. The bolt is extremely easy to field-strip, an experienced Nagant user can disassemble the bolt and reassemble it in at least 40 seconds. And probably the most interesting fact about this rifle is that it was sometimes used for anti-tank shooting in WWII. The 7.62x54R round can pierce through the steel hull of tanks. This is the list of wars this rifle has seen action in:Boxer RebellionRusso-Japanese WarWorld War IFinnish Civil WarRussian Revolution (1917)Russian Civil WarPolish-Soviet WarTurkish War of IndependenceChinese Civil WarSpanish Civil WarSecond Sino-Japanese WarWinter WarContinuation WarWorld War IIGreat Patriotic WarFirst Indochina WarKorean WarCuban RevolutionYemeni Civil WarVietnam WarLaotian Civil WarCambodian Civil WarCambodian–Vietnamese WarThai–Laotian Border WarAfghan civil warSoviet War in AfghanistanYugoslav WarsFirst Chechen WarSecond Chechen WarWar in Afghanistan (2001–present)Iraq WarothersOne of the most legendary military rifles all around, its accuracy from its time period still stands in good standing today.
